Is it necessary to use sedative drugs to prevent or overcome stress and «support» the nervous system?
During war, we all are stressed: we feel anxiety, fear for the future and loved ones, sadness, etc.
Feeling anxious during stress is a normal protective reaction of the body. That is, the body helps us to be activated and mobilized, improves our attention span, memory, and the ability to think critically.
What should you do if you are in a state of stress?
- Continue doing as much (if possible) as you did before the war.
- Engage in physical education, sports.
- Distract yourself from the news at least for a few hours.
- Try to walk more.
- Drink enough water.
- Follow your sleeping schedule.
If after 10-15 days your condition does not improve, then you need to help your body with medication.
Consult a neurologist. He will prescribe medicine that will help you.
Take care of yourself and your loved ones!
